In Mumbai, Thane Rationing area we started taking requirements for APL cardholders from the shopkeeoers and accordingly quota sanctioned to them.

BPL,Antyodaya 100% cardholders are covered .While doing this we ensure that no shop will remain dry and needy cardholders get their quota.

Supply of Kerosene

Mumbai-Thane Rationing Area receives kerosene quota at the rate about 69% to 70% of the requirement.The cardholders are assured that their kerosene quota will be available to them on any day of the month upto last day of the month.

The Controller of Rationing has been sending the copies of allocation sanctioned for Region Offices.

Wide publicity for exact quantum and quantity of kerosene made available to every Region during that month along with copy to all Members of Parliament,Members of Legislative Assembly, and committee members of vigilance commitee.

Tanker Tracking System

The State Govt has started the manual implementation of the tanker tracking system in the state.This will ensure a feed-back based on actual experience by the time the computerization takes effect.

The State Govt.prescribed a uniform tanker tracking data sheet to be used by the dealers for lifting and distribution of PDS kerosene.With the help of Science and Technology Park Pune GPS tracking system in installed on all kerosene tankers and geo-fencing process is underway.
