National Consumer Day is celebrated every year on 24th December in India. A.D. The Consumer Rights Act was approved by the President of India on 24 December 1986. Since then 24th December is celebrated as National Consumer Day. Many organizations and activists had to make efforts to bring this law into existence. [1] According to the Consumer Protection Act, every Indian consumer has got six rights.
